Colour and cloth

Colour, zari and small differences

Silk takes dye in its own way. A maroon on your phone and a maroon in the afternoon are not the same object. Please order with that in mind.

01Screens

We do not accept returns only because the saree looks lighter, darker or warmer than it did on a phone or laptop. If you are choosing for a ceremony, ask us on WhatsApp for a daylight note before you order.

02Zari

Metallic thread reflects the room. Antique gold can look yellow indoors and paler outside. That is the thread, not a different product.

03Piece to piece

Hand-guided weaving and printing mean a flower or booti may sit a little higher or lower than in the photograph. The design family stays the same.

04Colour release

Deep and bright shades, including black, maroon, red and royal blue, can release a little excess dye the first time they are cleaned. Dry clean silk. Do not soak a new dark saree. Wash darks separately if the care page allows washing at all.

05When it is a real fault

A tear, a hole, a large stain, a missing blouse piece that was promised, or a completely different design is a fault. Follow the opening video steps and the returns policy.
